LOS ANGELES, July 20, 2015—Williams Data Management, Southern California’s premier provider of Data Lifecycle Management services, announced a $1,583.76 donation to the Children’s Hospital of Orange County (CHOC), in support of the expansion of their Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). In partnership with Orange County’s Credit Union (OCCU), Williams Data Management held their first annual shred and E-waste event in honor of Earth Day and charitable giving. The shred and E-waste drive was held at the OCCU headquarters in Santa Ana, and resulted in more than eight (8) tons of recyclable materials. For every ton recycled, Williams Data Management pledged to donate approximately $200.00 to CHOC.

“We are grateful for Orange County’s Credit Union’s generosity, and are proud to support CHOC’s initiatives to improve the care of newborn babies and families impacted by illness or preterm birth,” said Douglas Williams, Chief Executive Officer, Williams Data Management. “No other hospital in the region is prepared to provide this highly specialized care, and we encourage others to help support CHOC’s pledge to improve the quality of life for infants,” he added.

“Credit Unions for CHOC raised over $600,000 last year and this year, with the help of our generous supporters, we hope to exceed this amount,” said Leticia Mata, Assistant Vice President, Community Education and Development, Orange County’s Credit Union. “Orange County’s Credit Union is proud to partner with compassionate and caring organizations that are just as invested in our community as we have been for many years,” she added.

Douglas believes in giving back, and has served on several not-for-profit boards, including Stephen S. Wise Temple, and as Board President of Heschel Day School. Douglas currently serves on the Jewish National Fund board, and is a member of Vistage, the world’s leading organization for executive coaching and business leadership.
